Revelation's Rapture

What does the Bible say about Christ's second coming? When and how will it happen? Will it be a secret? People were not ready for Christ's first coming. Could that same mistake happen again? Jesus promised that He would return. He told us the way He left is the way He will return.

The Dragon's Egg

How did evil originate? Where did sin come from? Did God create a devil? The Bible explains how Lucifer, a covering cherub in heaven, turned against God. There is a mystery to the devil's fall from heaven. But the Bible says a third of the angels of heaven were cast out of heaven. Satan was once the highest angel in heaven and created perfect until iniquity was found in him.

Blood on the Throne

Revelation 5 speaks about a scroll that only the Lamb of God can open. This gospel message is repeated in other places in Revelation. The central theme of prophecy is salvation. The Bible teaches that life is in the blood. When Jesus gave His life for us it washes away the sins of the world. The Lord will give you eternal life when you humble yourself before Him, confess your sins, and accept by faith forgiveness.

Israel's Temple in Prophecy

What does the Bible say about Israel's temple? There are three temples in Scripture. The sanctuary teaches us important lessons about sin, salvation, and the future. God gave Moses divine plans for a portable temple that were a copy of what was in heaven. Daniel 9 speaks about the sanctuary.

The Two Witnesses

Who are the two witnesses in Revelation 11? They prophesy for 42 months. What does this mean? Moses and Elijah met with Jesus on a mountain to be the two greatest witnesses that Christ was the Messiah. They are symbols for the Word of God, the Old and New Testaments. Even the tables of stone for the ten commandments are on two stones. They are still applicable today.

The Richest Caveman

This is the personal testimony of Pastor Doug Batchelor called "The Richest Caveman." Born to wealthy parents, Doug grew up mostly as a nonchurched person. With a Jewish background he was basically an atheist. After an early life of crime, drugs and wild living, Doug sought to find meaning in life by living in a cave outside Palm Springs, California. During this time alone he discovered God.

History's Greatest Hoax

An issue at the end of time will focus on worship. The beast of Revelation 13 seeks to force all to worship the image of the beast. What is this all about? The Bible has stories of death decrees that pressed God's people to break God's law. It was Jesus' custom of worshiping on the Sabbath. The Sabbath is on the 7th day, Saturday. God establishes the Sabbath at Creation before there were any Jews.

Revelation Reveals the Antichrist

Who is the antichrist? Revelation 13 actually speaks of two beasts, not one. Antichrist is a power that puts itself in the place of Christ. The most severe condemnation in the Bible is made toward those who worship the beast and his image. Beasts in the Bible represent kingdoms. What world power does this beast represent?

666 and the Mark of the Beast

The lesson in this talk is about the mark of the beast. What is this mark? God has a seal on His people also. The first mark in Scripture was on Cain in Genesis. To identify the mark of the beast, we must identify the beast in Revelation 13. This religious-political power will persecute God's people. 666 is not the mark of the beast, it is an identification of the beast power.

The USA in Bible Prophecy

This seminar speaks about Babylon spoken of in Revelation 13, 14 and 17. Who is the woman in who sits on a beast? The first beast is a world power that is both political and religious. It is a blasphemous power. A woman represents the church. Babylon and the harlot represents the fallen church. The description matches papal Rome. The second beast of Revelation 13 speaks of the United States in prophecy.

Drowning the Old Man

Jesus said, "I am the water of life." The Lord has provided a way for us to be washed and made new. It is called baptism. This was important to Jesus for our salvation. The Israelites passage through the Red Sea was a type of baptism. Jesus said to Nicodemus we must be born of water and the Spirit. His parting words to the disciples was to baptize people.

Deadly Delusions

What does the Bible teach about what happens when we die? Do we go straight to heaven, hell, or somewhere in between? Knowing how God first created us will help us know what happens when we die. The dust returns to the earth and the breath to God. The Lord alone has immortality. We sleep in the grave until the resurrection day.

The Lake of Fire

What does the Bible teach about hell? Is the devil in charge of hell? The Bible gives us solemn warnings about a day of calamity coming. Jesus speaks of Noah's day and the warning to Lot and his family in Sodom and Gomorrah. There is a reward of the wicked, the punishment, that will eternally destroy them and all evil. The wages of sin is not eternal torment, but death.

The Devil Chained

What does the Bible teach about the millennium? When does this 1,000 years of peace begin? Where will Satan be during this time? This study focuses on Revelation 20. The beginning of the 1,000 years is marked by the resurrection of the righteous. The end is marked by the resurrection of the wicked.

God's Health Plan

Does the Bible talk about health? Is it something important for Christians to consider? There is a clear connection between how we eat and how we leave. The story of Daniel not defiling himself sets the stage for being responsible for our bodies. Our spiritual perceptions are fogged by drugs, alcohol, and poor living habits.

Clothed with Light?

Who is the woman described in Revelation 12 who is clothed in light? We are to be the bride of Christ. The church is represented by a woman in the Bible. God's church is a pure woman and the fallen churches are depicted as an immoral woman. Why do people pick a church? The best reason is that it follows the Bible.

The Truth About Israel's 144,000

Who are the 144,000? Are they a literal group of people or a representative group? What the 12 apostles were at Christ's coming the 144,000 are at the second coming. They are not the only ones who will be saved but representatives.

There is a sin God cannot forgive--grieving away the Holy Spirit.

The Lion and the Lamb

Is there a heaven? Is there life out there? Can we live forever and is Jesus really preparing a place for us? What does the Bible teach about paradise? God is the architect of this city, a place unlike any city on this earth. It is currently in heaven above, but will be moved to this earth at the end of the millennium. The city is described with some detail in Revelation.
